Ali Mousavi
Ali Mousavi joined SIP Law as the first associate of the firm in early 2024. He is a dynamic legal professional whose career connects law, entrepreneurship, and international business, with major experience spanning complex commercial litigation, labor and employment, and venture capital. Early academic achievement at Allame Tabataba’i University in Tehran and legal and financial roles at a Canadian tech startup laid the groundwork for his practical, globally informed approach, which later distinguished him in the United States’ competitive legal field. In California, Ali earned his JD from the University of San Francisco School of Law and furthered his expertise with an LL.M. from UC Berkeley, graduating in the top 15% of his class. During his time at Berkeley, he contributed to the Berkeley Business Law Journal and completed specialized certifications in Generative AI for the Legal Profession and Venture Capital Deal Bootcamp—an experience that sharpened his insights into startup dynamics and the investor landscape.
